The numbers from IAB and PricewaterhouseCoopers are in: The online segment is on track to hit $23 billion in sales this year, an 8.5% increase over last year. For the first half of 2008, U.S. Internet advertising revenue rose 15.2%, totaling $11.5 billion. Search constituted 44% of expenditures for the first half of 2008, with display and display-related formats accounting for 33% over the same period.
